A
History: by Michael Perel, Georgia's husband
When I was growing up in Memphis, my sister was
friends with a girl her age who lived next door
to us.
Georgia was also their friend. Sometimes when they were
visiting my sister at home I would be there and say hello
to them. That was how we first met. We did not start dating
until I was an intern. We got married about 3 months after
we started dating, Nov. 20, 1973. We were married 30 years.
About a month after we got married we had to move to
Albany, NY for three years while I did my dermatology
residency. And then we moved to California where I began
my dermatology career.
Georgia was not an outdoor person although she did enjoy horseback riding.
We moved to Las Vegas because she did not like the earthquakes in California
(we
were in one and had damage to our house).
She
got involved with Internet marketing about 4-5 years ago. This was about
the
time when Eric was old enough to go to college and there was nothing for
her to
do all day
long. She was happy to sit in front of the computer all
day long and only
receive small commission checks. She got involved with a supposed Internet
Guru
on the
Internet
about a year or two later because of an e-mail she received. I think
she joined
up with the company when it was first starting. I became involved when
he
was
inviting people to come to Florida
for the first infomercial. He was
willing
to
pay
our way so I agreed to go down there
to see what was going on. I
wish now
that
I had never gone down there.
He
gained her trust at first because he did actually pay commission checks to
her.
Also,
he paid our way to Florida for the first infomercial. She did
Internet marketing
with other companies. She made more money with him than
the
other companies
at first . So at
first there was no reason to suspect
anything
was wrong. It was after
the infomercial was made and no CD's were sold that
we should have suspected
that something was wrong. But she still trusted him
and sincerely thought that he
was honest and would figure out a way to make
money. Just about everything he
promised us after the infomercial was a lie.
But whenever I suggested this, she would tell me I was wrong and that she
believed
in him. I was too involved with my own work that I did not have
time
to check him out.
Also, I did
not know how to check him out, because, I have
never been involved with
anyone or anything like this before.
Well, that's briefly my story. I still am not sure how to tell the
difference between
someone you can trust, and one you cannot.

Michael Perel

Georgia was known by
every active
member in this online company.
She played an active role daily as the
moderator in the 24/7 Company Paltalk
room. She believed so deeply in where that
company was headed and the wonderful
people involved. It could have actually been
a company to contend with on the Internet if
the leaders had stayed on course and greed
had not been their goal. There were many
dedicated members who gave their all to
make that company successful and helped
other members. Georgia was instrumental
in the motivation and communication
of this company, financially and emotionally.
But
Georgia was most known for her willingness to help others and gave of
herself
and
her time. She was never paid for all the long hard hours she put
in
for the people
and Company. She was always willing to talk to people one-on-one and in
a
packed conference rooms to make others feel comfortable and get
the help they
needed.
She also became a Master Coach and helped countless
Internet
beginners.
She
was known as "Queen BOIAB" (Business Opportunity In A Box) and you might
have even seen her don a tiara at conventions as pictured here. She was
very well
liked and admired by everyone! Georgia had a sense of humor and
loved to laugh,
even at herself. She would sing [Off Key LOL] cheering
everyone up and making the
long work hours easier.
Georgia Perel touched the lives of so very many people, especially those of
us
in
this group venture, that we decided to dedicate this site to her.
We
will always remember her fondly and vow to prevent the fraudulent practices
of
some Internet leaders from doing others in while they reap all the
benefits.
Michael and Georgia lost a very big beautiful home over their investments of
"trust".
They had maxed out every credit card, because they were told that
if
they didn't,
the company would be lost. When Georgia fully realized the
extent
of betrayal,
written promissory and "guarantee" note's that were useless,
she
became so
despondent
she committed suicide. The CEO that once claimed
to
be their
"friend" never even
sent Flowers, or a card to Georgia's family .
Georgia was our friend and we miss her.
