| OMD Hi I'm Doug Dawes. Several
years ago I was stuck with the nickname of O-M-D, which
was bestowed on me by my 3 sons & their friends. OMD is short for "Ole Man
Dawes"
For some reason it just stuck. Wanna know how to get in trouble? I said if
I'm O-M-D
then my wife Pam, is O-L-D [big grin] [Man that did not sit well with the
sisterhood!].
We're from Massachusetts and I've been on
the Internet for about 4 years, part time.
I was laid off 2 years ago after 35 years in Corporate America and only a
couple of
months before I could officially retire.
I believe that the Internet has not come
into it's own yet and will be THE marketplace
of choice as the years progress. It WILL be the main arena for people to
build a Global
Home-Based Business. I also believe that home-based businesses are the BEST
trend
out there for everyone. That being said, you really have to be careful
though. Many,
many offers out there are just, plain & simple, rip-offs run by con artists
and predators
that could sell hot sauce in hell! You have to be very careful. I know,
because I've been
burned several times by the self professed Internet Guru's and - to be fair
- I've burned
myself once or twice by reacting on emotion instead of investigation. Had to
be at the
top, right? Well, if ya don't investigate or have the tools and the
knowledge what good
is it to be at the top?
Hey, I'm learning too! My goal is to only
